This cookbook is specific to anyone that is currently living a low-carb lifestyle or that is interested in learning what Keto is about. Before delving into a wide variety of recipes, you are greeted with plenty of information about Keto.
This information includes an FAQ with some of the most common keto questions and concerns, some information about fats, proteins, and carbs, and some tips on moving from induction to maintenance. If you’ve been a Keto dieter for a while, this information might not be necessary for you. However, it’s a great addition for anyone new to the diet or who is trying to learn about Keto to determine if it’s for them.
One of the things I’ve noticed about people trying Keto for the first time is that they don’t know what to eat. By that I mean that someone new will go out and buy all of these “Keto” specialty foods only to learn that so many of them are just completely unnecessary. Before starting myself, I bought a variety of flours, alternative sweeteners, and other items. A few months in and I’ve barely touched any of them. Not only that but I have a 3 lb bag of Almond Flour that sits as a constant reminder that not only do I hate Almond Flour, but that I should try ingredients before buying huge bags. I love that the recipes in The Deliciously Keto Cookbook generally call for a lot of things you’d normally buy or might already have in your home. This makes trying Keto less expensive and maintaining it more likely.
Everything from your three basic meals to snacks are available in The Deliciously Keto Cookbook. There are a variety of recipes that should suit every palate – keto or not. Some of my favorite recipe options include Parmesan Zucchini Fritters with Basil Mayo, Mushroom and Swiss Frittata, Pepperoni and Black Olive Pizza Bites, Everything Mini-Cheeseballs, Sausage Crust Pizza, Shrimp Fried Cauliflower Rice, and so many others. Sections are split into things like Breakfast, Snacks, Appetizers, Soups, Pork Main, Beef Main, Desserts, and more! This gives you a better chance of quickly finding the type of recipe you want!
Is The Deliciously Keto Cookbook Recommended?
If you’re doing a low-carb diet, are currently eating Keto, or you’re considering your options where this way of eating is concerned, you need The Deliciously Keto Cookbook. It’s an amazing book and offers plenty of beginner information. More importantly, if you’re of the mindset that a low-carb diet of any kind is limiting, The Deliciously Keto Cookbook will definitely show you otherwise. I found plenty of great recipes that were delicious or that I plan to try. This book was just what I needed to add a little variety to my diet.
